- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I have had nothing but negative experiences with Chase bank, AND it's employees at ANY Chase I've been to. They will charge for everything and then charge some more. Overdraft fee? Yup, there's one, oops there's another . . . unknown service fees? OH YEAH, there goes another $10. Aaaaand, $5 for each statement. I'm afraid a FREE checking account is anything but free with Chase. Not to mention their employees are rude, arrogant and not helpful in the least . . . they just pawn you off to someone else and the cycle continues. I switched banks a year and a half ago to Home State Bank, and interestingly enough, I haven't been charged ONE CENT in that time, no overdrafts, service fees, nuthin'! They actually PAY interest on their checking accounts! Nothing changed other than my bank, not job, not salary not spending habits. That's a pretty big correlation to what Chase can offer you. Throw that "Free" $50 offer in the TRASH and stay away from this abusive company!By A Google User, April 19, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Hit or miss depending on who you get. Some of their people make me feel like I'm an important member of the bank. Others treated me like a child. Generally, the personal bankers, clerks, and investment people have been really great. The mortgage people --- not so much.
